Careful and deliberate with the highest of standards—you’re who others come to when they want a job WELL done! You learn quickly and are here for the facts and figures 📚 And when something catches your interest, you want to know it inside out.
BUT FOR ALL THAT…
You still feel like something’s missing.
Ever Wonder This?
Maybe you wonder, “Why do I feel alone—even with my friends and family around?,” “What’s the point of all this work I’m putting in?,” or even, “Am I really capable of creating change?”
If that sounds familiar, let me reassure you: Of course, you’re capable of taking control and creating change—BUT, first…
… you need people to share it with.
Your Results
When our table lacks Relational Wellness, we struggle to see the impact we’re making. We could be pouring our hearts into our purpose… but we’re not sharing it with others, and that will never bring us the fulfillment we long for.
We may even begin to question whether what we’re doing matters.
STRAIGHT UP:
That could not be further from the truth.
When God created you, he gave you an incredible gift: a mission that you (and only you!) can fulfill, but that mission will almost always involve people—which means it requires us to be in relationships. That’s how we make what we’re doing matter.

Your Relational Wellness Toolkit:
Build Rewarding Relationships & Find More Fulfillment—for Yourself & Others
We see things like hitting the gym as essential to our well-being—by comparison, catching up with our friend over a cup of coffee seems… not as important.
Here’s the thing, though 👉🏾You and I are wired for connection.
And when that need goes unmet, we suffer. We become more anxious, more prone to depression. Plus, when it comes to your purpose, purpose is often collaborative. We don’t build a new software or start a business just for the sake of it—we do it to help people.
More importantly, though, God didn’t create you to make money. He doesn’t need your help making money or generating resources! No, He created you to make an impact. He created you to make a difference.
Don’t know where to start? That’s all good—and I’m about to give you step-by-step strategies for building a deeper bond with others so you can do just that.

Your Relational Wellness Toolkit:
KNOW YOUR PEOPLE
If you’re like most, you might think Relational Wellness means rushing out to the nearest coffee shop to meet new people. And, sure, that’s part of it, but nine times out of ten we stand to gain more by nurturing our existing relationships.
It’s easy to overlook the value of these relationships, not to mention the opportunities that arise when we invest in them.
But, before you can do that, you’ve got to figure out what… or who… you’re working with. So, grab a pen and paper and get started by brainstorming:
1. Your Core Connections: This includes your immediate family and anyone who plays a pivotal role in your life.
2. Your Significant Connections: This could include your extended family, friends, and neighbors. Your boss and coworkers. Your pastor or small-group leader.
3. Your Loose Connections: These are people who know you without knowing much about you: old friends from high school, the server at your favorite restaurant, etc.
Got it?
These are the people who are already in your corner, and by bettering their lives, you’re bettering your own, too, creating a sense of community and making a meaningful difference.
MAKE AN INVESTMENT PLAN
It’s one thing to know who’s on your team, and it’s another to nurture those relationships. So, take a look at your list and think about who inspires you…
Who lifts you up?
Who makes you feel like the most powerful version of yourself?
These are the people you want to invest your time and energy in. To accomplish that, start by setting a goal and making a concerted effort.
Your goal can be as big or small as you want it to be. What’s most important is that it’s realistic for you and your schedule—for example, you might commit to:
- Getting coffee with a friend once a week
- Prioritizing family get-togethers
- Reaching out to someone you haven’t spoken to and letting them know you’re thinking of them
Take a second to write down your goal.
Now, if you looked at your list thinking, “Not one of these people makes me feel like the most powerful version of myself,” I get it. But hold on because the next piece of this toolkit was made for you.
EXPAND YOUR CIRCLE
If you’re ready to expand your circle, here are my go-to strategies. For all of these, lead with your interests. Keep in mind, too, that you’re looking for people who empower you.
Join Clubs or Groups: Whether it's a book club, a sports team, or a hobby group, joining clubs aligned with your interests is a great way to meet like-minded individuals.
Attend Local Events: Look for local events like festivals, workshops, or community gatherings. These events provide opportunities to socialize and connect with new people.
Volunteer: Volunteering for a cause you care about can help you meet people who share your values and interests. It's also a fulfilling way to give back to your community.
Take Classes or Workshops: Enroll in a class or workshop to learn something new. This could be anything from cooking to dancing to coding. These environments are conducive to meeting new friends.
Use Social Media and Apps: Platforms like Meetup or Bumble BFF are designed to help people make new friends based on shared interests. Social media groups focused on hobbies or local events can also be useful.
Which of these can you commit to doing in the next week? Pick one out, do whatever research is necessary, and add it to your schedule ASAP.

Relational Wellness Is One Part Of A Bigger Picture Table
THIS table isn’t your average table. THIS table—your table—is your life. It’s who you were, who you are, and who you were born to be. It’s your past, present, and future.
Instead of wooden planks, it’s made up of everything you need to own your decisions and take control of your life: spiritual, mental, physical, financial, and relational wellness.
Having even ONE of those is something to be so proud of…
But, to be honest, the real magic happens when they come together. When they are functioning as a unified whole—that’s when we can really take a seat at the HEAD of our own table.
Now, before we dig deeper into WHAT that means, WHY it matters, and HOW it can help you live a fuller, more authentic life…
⬇️ Let’s Take A Look At Your Table ⬇️
Relational Wellness may not be your strongest suit, BUT your personalized toolkit paired with my guidance and support means that that can and will change.
And when it does…
The other parts of your table—from finances to mental and physical health—will prosper, too. After all, they’re parts of the same whole.

You Can’t Manage Your Table Without Managing Your Money

Money is nothing more than a tool.
It doesn’t define you, but when mismanaged, it can prevent you from reaching your full potential.
It won’t answer your questions, but it can help you find the answers you need to fulfill your purpose.
And if you want to take emotions out of the equation, lay the foundation for financial literacy, and start using your dollars and cents as a tool to transform your life…
