You, my friend, are AMBITIOUS! You hold yourself to high standards-setting ad scoring personal goals like it's the FIFA World Cup. Hard work? You're here for it. In the boardroom or classroom, you'll do whatever it takes to win that next award.
BUT FOR ALL THAT...
You still feel like something's missing.
Ever Wonder This?
Maybe you wonder, "What's the point of all this work I'm putting in? It feels like I'm wasting my time," "What change am I creating?" or even, "What legacy will I leave behind?"
If that sounds familiar, let me be the first to say: It ISN"T that you're not trying hard enough.
It may be that you're trying too hard.. at the wrong things.

When our table lacks Spiritual Wellness, we struggle to take control and fulfill God's mission for us. We go after superficial goals. The raises and promotions that look good on paper, but it never feels like enough - WE never feel like enough.
We may even begin to feel like our lives don't really matter...
STRAIGHT UP:
That could not be further from the truth.
God made you the way He made you so He could work through you at a particular time and place. You have change to create, ground to break, and trails to blaze. And if you're not paying attention, that purpose is easily missed.

Your Spiritual Wellness Toolkit:
Connect With Your Calling & Take ownership of Your Spiritual Power.
You and I? 👉🏾 We were created to connect with God. To feel His presence. To know His love. And when we honor that divine connection and follow God’s plan for us, we become the most impactful versions of ourselves.
The version that shows up, shows out, and uses their blessings to accomplish what they were created to accomplish.
Now, if God feels distant and you’re acting from a place of external pressure instead of internal purpose, I understand. I’ve been there—ignoring the gifts He gave me and striving for someone else’s version of success…
...all the while wondering, “What’s the point?”
I’ll tell you what I wish I could’ve told myself: The moment you accept how He designed and devised YOU is the moment you step into your mission.
After all, you are not the source of your table. Your Creator is the source of your table. He gave you that table—He gave you your life—for a specific purpose. For a spiritual purpose.
You have a unique assignment in your community and in this world—one only you can accomplish.
And if that seems overwhelming, take a deep breath—I’m about to give you step-by-step strategies for building a deeper bond with Him so you can do just that.
It's Time to Open...
Your Spiritual Wellness? Toolkit:
Let Him Know You're Listening
If you’ve ever fallen out of touch with a friend, you know one text message is all it takes to reconnect—AND it’s no different with God. He wants to connect with you…
He wants to guide and support you. He wants to bless you with abundance and well-being.
But, first, he needs to know you’re listening.
So, how do you do that? How do you tell God you’re listening—when it’s been months or years since you last reached out?
First, find a quiet place and set your phone to Do Not Disturb. Settle in and practice some deep breathing—the quieter your mind, the easier it’ll be to hear God’s voice.
When you’re ready, make your amends and commit to coming back to Him. Then, ask the following questions:
What do you want for my life?
How can I follow the path you’ve created for me?
Listening to God takes time and intention. And, especially when we’re out of practice, hearing His voice can be challenging…
So set your expectations aside and if this exercise doesn’t turn out exactly how you’d hoped, don’t be discouraged. Come back to it every day knowing that He hears you whether or not you hear Him.
CLEAR A SPOT FOR HIM AT YOUR TABLE
You are the steward of your table (more on what I mean by that soon!), but God? He’s the source. He gave you life for a reason. I call that reason your assignment.
I use the word “assignment” because it adds a sense of urgency to the concept of purpose.
I have an assignment. A mission. I wasn’t created solely to enjoy myself or indulge myself. No, I was created to make a difference in the world. And the same is true for you—you have an assignment of your own.
But when your choices or your goals pull you away from that purpose, you won’t be spiritually healthy. You won’t have a meaningful life no matter what kind of salary or other outward signs of success you achieve.
Remember: God is here to serve you as you serve Him. When you use your life to honor and uphold His name—when you clear a spot for him at your table and invite him to take a seat—he’ll return the favor tenfold.
We show God he’s welcome at our table by prioritizing Him and making Him a part of our day-to-day life, which can look a little different for everyone.
Here are some of my go-to practices:
1. Bible Study: When we study the Bible, we demonstrate our commitment to following God’s word and strengthening our faith.
There’s no one right way to do it, but I recommend grabbing a notebook and reading through a verse of the Bible, making note of anything and everything that stands out to you.
2. Meditation: One of the easiest ways to make space for God is by clearing our minds so we can better connect with him.
You don’t need an expensive meditation app or one of those fancy cushions to do this. It can be as simple as sitting in silence for a minute or two recognizing his presence.
3. Acts Of Kindness: God created us out of His generosity, and when we follow His example and share our resources with others, we honor Him.
It doesn’t have to be financial—an act of kindness can look like you talking your friend through a bad breakup to volunteering to help a family member move.
connect with your community
Finding spiritual people who can help you stay on a healthy path is ESSENTIAL to building and maintaining your bond with God—for two main reasons:
1. Perspective: When we connect with our community, we gain the wisdom of men and women who can see things we can’t.
They can see past our circumstances and the fears that may be holding us back from pursuing our purpose…
… and offer us their perspectives with our best interest in mind.
Accountability: Because it’s one thing to have goals and plans…
But it’s a whole other thing to have a group of people dedicated to helping you reach those goals and plans while staying in God’s good standing.
So, how do you go about connecting with your community? For me, it looks like attending events, taking classes, and volunteering.
But, let’s say you haven’t been attending church consistently. Take the plunge, go, and challenge yourself to start a conversation with at least one new person.

Spiritual Wellness Is One Part Of A Bigger Picture Table
THIS table isn’t your average table. THIS table—your table—is your life. It’s who you were, who you are, and who you were born to be. It’s your past, present, and future.
Instead of wooden planks, it’s made up of everything you need to own your decisions and take control of your life: spiritual, mental, physical, financial, and relational wellness.
Having even ONE of those is something to be so proud of…
But, to be honest, the real magic happens when they come together. When they are functioning as a unified whole—that’s when we can really take a seat at the HEAD of our own table.
Now, before we dig deeper into WHAT that means, WHY it matters, and HOW it can help you live a fuller, more authentic life…
⬇️ Let’s Take A Look At Your Table ⬇️
Spiritual Wellness may not be your strongest suit, BUT your personalized toolkit paired with my guidance and support means that that can and will change.
And when it does…
The other parts of your table—from finances to relationships—will prosper, too. After all, they’re parts of the same whole.

You Can’t Manage Your Table Without Managing Your Money
Nothing messes with our emotions quite like money. From fear and guilt to the kind of shame that makes us want to curl up in a ball and disappear, it brings up feelings we don’t want to feel. But, for a second, try to set that aside—because beneath those emotions…
Money is nothing more than a tool.
It doesn’t define you, but when mismanaged, it can prevent you from reaching your full potential.
It won’t answer your questions, but it can help you find the answers you need to fulfill your purpose.
And if you want to take emotions out of the equation, lay the foundation for financial literacy, and start using your dollars and cents as a tool to transform your life…
